Discussion with next generation’s leaders from AIESEC

Discussion with next generation’s leaders from AIESEC

In preparation for the International Exchange Event to be held on July 7 by JCI Tokyo Shinjuku-ward Commission, we had a lively discussion with student members of AIESEC to tune the goals, philosophy and direction of event.

AIESEC is the world’s largest non-profit youth-run organization, organizing cross-cultural global internships, with the goal to “achieve Peach and Fulfillment of Humankind’s potential”. AIESEC Japan was founded in 1962 and now is active in 25 universities, providing youth with opportunities of leadership development through participating in and receiving global internships.

With cooperation from students having close relationships to foreign exchange students, next generation’s leaders, the JCI Tokyo Shinjuku-ward Commission’s event is much more certain to be a success and useful for all participants. The discussions with well opinionated and strongly believing students were very stimulating. Thinking back to my own time as a student… (laugh

We invite anybody interested to participate and share the excitement!

Going forward, we will further collaborate with students to create an organization that provides continuing opportunities for foreign residents (short- and long-term) in Japan to interact more with local residents.

Members from Junior Chamber International, as current Young Leaders, will continue to work together with students aspiring to be next generation’s leaders.

The possibility to be involved internationally and across generations is one of the charms of JCI. Do you want to join us to change to world to be a better place together?
